Each season, the Batavia Concert Band Board of Directors recognizes a student musician entering or enrolled in the field of music (or related major) and/or has demonstrated a commitment to performing in community bands, including the Batavia Concert Band. Preference is awarded to those students majoring in a music related field, however all applications will be considered. $300.00 is endowed to one recipient each year, upon submission of application and proof of enrollment in a college program (transcript, letter on college letterhead, etc).

If you are interested or know a student who you'd recommend, please complete (or share) the application for 2026 (coming soon below). The Board of Directors and General Manager will review all applications and award the recipient at the end of the season.
